I’m Kaja, and I’m happy to be your guide on Saaremaa — as long as you booked the English tour, because my other language skills… well, let’s not talk about those!

I hold a diploma from the Estonian School of Hotel & Tourism Management and an official guide licence from the Estonian Guide Association after completing a two-year Cultural Guide programme.
I’ve guided cruise-ship guests in Tallinn for many seasons, travelled extensively across Europe, lived on the US East Coast through a cultural exchange programme, and even worked on a cruise ship in the Caribbean — great preparation for welcoming guests from around the world.
Still, my heart belongs to Saaremaa, where my roots go back generations. Growing up in a history-loving family, sharing the stories, culture, island humour, and charm of my home feels completely natural. I’m excited to guide you!
